DESCRIPTION:Saturday 3rd August from 10am at Wadebridge Community Fire Station\, Piggy Lane\, Wadebridge\, Cornwall\, PL27 7AL. \nLots to see and do! \nMeet some of the teams who are dedicated to responding to emergencies and ensuring public safety in and around Cornwall. Opportunities will be available to explore various emergency response vehicles\, the equipment used to resolve emergencies and the personal protective equipment (PPE) worn to keep us safe while doing so. \nTeams in attendance include:\nWadebridge Fire & Rescue\nWadebridge Police\nPolzeath Coastguard\nEast Cornwall Search & Rescue \nTri-Service Safety Officer Ella & service dog Bossiney (Boss) will also be at our open day. TSSO’s provide a unique and innovative approach to resolving community safety matters by jointly targeting and identifying issues. Join us to find out more about their role in the community. \nHave-a-go sessions. \nRefreshments will be available throughout the event. \nThe event is free to attend but donations in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity are welcomed.
