Cornish Astronomy Heritage / Dark Skies: Bright Stars Project
Take a journey through the numerous astronomical discoveries of Cornwall’s rich 6000-year astronomy heritage with the Mayes Creative team. Their Dark Skies: Bright Stars project, focusing on the archaeoastronomy heritage of East Cornwall, has introduced schools and community groups to The Hurlers stone circles on Bodmin Moor as well as the important work undertaken by Cornish astronomers, Richard Haydon, and John Couch Adams, who discovered Neptune.
