Open year round*, the Eden Project offers a huge range of activities for locals. Don't miss the chance to snap up a Locals’ Pass over the winter period - available now, until the 5th March 2018 they provide the opportunity to enjoy unlimited entry until 31st October. Visit as often as you like, whenever you like, to see Eden throughout the seasons and to take advantage of the many different events taking place there (most are included within the cost of the pass, although some separate charges may apply).
*except Christmas Day and some Mondays/Tuesdays in January and February
Packed with fun filled activities, music and events, there’s a lot to look forward to at Eden over the coming months.
Running from 25th November - 30th December on selected dates, the Festival of Light and Sound promises to be a spectacular affair. As darkness falls, you'll be amazed as Eden's winter landscape, outdoors and inside the Mediterreanean Biome, is transformed with light projections, music and colour.
A fantastic time to visit Eden, Christmas offers up a whole host of fun. Enjoy the beautiful light displays, have a go on the ice rink and even meet Father Christmas and his elves on selected dates. You can also tuck into seasonal food at the cafes and do a spot of Christmas shopping at the shop.
With the New Year comes a new adventure - you can view the full what’s on listings here.
Seeking even more adventure? We recommend taking to the skies and flying along the longest and fastest zip wire in England - passing over the Biomes you’ll cover 660 metres and reach speeds of up to 60mph!
Even if you’re a regular visitor to Eden, there may be areas you are yet to explore: have you ticked off the ‘must-see’ list or explored our kids’ Discovery Trail? Available to download from edenproject.com, these highlight some of the top exhibits and displays across both the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, and further afield.
Take a walk of discovery around the Outdoor Gardens - with lots of hidden corners, it's perfect for a game of hide and seek.
Explore the Wild Cornwall area, a beautifully tranquil spot with great views over the Eden site. Look out for stone carvings emerging from the moss and lichen on traditional stone walls and Neolithic-looking rocks. Discover the mysterious Eve, a ‘living sculpture’ growing out of the landscape of our Myth and Folklore exhibit.
Leave some time to visit the Core, a beautiful building with a design based on the natural structure of a sunflower. Here you’ll find a multitude of buttons to press, handles to wind, and exhibits to intrigue – not least the Seed, a huge granite sculpture set within its own special inner sanctum.
After all that exploring, you may need to refuel at one of Eden’s cafes or the Eden Kitchen. All Eden’s food is responsibly sourced and freshly made, and there’s a range of dishes, from picking up a wrap or baguette, coffee and cake or delicious dishes inspired by our Mediterranean Biome.
Some cafes/concessions close in quieter periods, so please check the website for details.
