St Ives Feast & Hurling the Silver Ball

This ancient tradition celebrates the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD.
A great day out for all the family with opportunities watch the rare game of Hurling the Silver Ball, an old form of rugby which sees the participants attempt to win the ball from each other - whoever returns the silver ball to the mayor on the steps of the Guildhall on the stroke of midday receives a silver coin.
