THE MAKERS’ MARKET CHRISTMAS EDITION

The Christmas Edition of The Makers’ Market takes place on the same day as the Penzance Christmas Lights switch-on and is a great way to get into the festive spirit. With a superb selection of works in ceramics, jewellery, print, textile, homewares, bookbinding and more, you are guaranteed to find incredible gifts for your friends and family.

You can also meet our friendly makers, who are always happy to chat about their work or discuss commissions.

The Exchange Cafe will serve food throughout the day with plenty of choices, from tasty lunches to scrumptious cakes – and, of course, mince pies and mulled wine. There will be free craft activities for you and your children, to make colourful Christmas tree decorations.

The Makers’ Market is a carefully curated event, showcasing the work of local and regional makers, with a focus on quality, innovation and creativity. At home in one of the major contemporary art venues in Cornwall, it is a platform for both established makers as well as start-ups, and committed to promoting contemporary design, artisanry and the handmade.
