Truro City of Lights

Truro's beautiful midwinter lantern festival is a spectacular event. Held in November each year, the city's streets are filled with dazzling lanterns, handmade and carried by Cornish school children, professional artists and local community groups.

This year's theme is 'The Museum of Lost Stories' inspired by the Cornish Archives and County Records Office. The event also includes the city's official Christmas lights turn on.
