Internationally renowned theatre company WildWorks return to Cornwall with their first show on home turf for over ten years, Wolf’s Child, which will be at The Trelowarren Estate from 11th to 30th July 2017.
Darkness. Love. Terror. Freedom.
The wild.
Wolves.
Wolf’s Child, tells the tale of 'Mother' who protects her girls from the dangers of the wild. When a wolf attack leaves her injured she sends her most trusted girl into the woods in her place. Here the girl discovers darkness, love, terror and freedom.
Wolf’s Child is a story for all the senses which stirs the soul and explores the very essence of being human.
Cornwall’s WildWorks, (Very Old Man With Enormous Wings, The Enchanted Palace and The Passion), are an internationally acclaimed theatre company who tell beautiful and moving stories in unusual ways.
Let yourself be led through the woods by sharp-tongued crows; pull on your walking shoes and follow the story as you walk the pathways into the wild.
‘The show is a promenade performance, people follow the action as it unfolds around them. We’ve spent time devising a route around Trelowarren that takes people from the familiar to the unknown – the performance takes people to places on the Estate that are not usually open to the public.’ Emma Hogg, WildWorks.
Tickets for the production, which runs from Tuesday 11th to Sunday 30th July, are available via Hall for Cornwall 01872 262466 or http://bit.ly/2nyuKJV
