Bosinver Farm Cottages

Visiting as a local

Long distance travel with small children can be a nightmare, but getting away from it all doesn’t have to mean hours spent travelling. In fact, not having to travel far from home means you can enjoy a really relaxing break. Staying local not only cuts the cost of travelling, it’s kinder to the planet, and it’s a great way to try a car-free holiday if you want to use public transport.

Bosinver Farm Cottages between St Austell and Mevagissey offer you the ideal weekend retreat. Winners of the 2015 Visit England Gold Award for best self catering in the country, their 20 individual detached luxury self catering cottages are set in 30 acres of peaceful farm and woodland, where children can play freely, families can relax together and nature is truly on the doorstep.

On the South Cornwall coast, not far from the beaches of the Roseland, the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, Bosinver makes the ideal location to explore this hidden corner of Cornwall and promises plenty of magical memories of outdoor adventures for your family.

Kids love the daily animal feeding sessions and egg-collecting with Farmer Dave and our indoor and outdoor play areas. Have fun on the zip wire and tennis courts or enjoy the solar heated indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna, all included at no extra charge. Parents can relax too in our stylishly decorated cottages. Eco-cottage Lowen and the Farmhouse even have their own hot tubs and if you don’t want to cook there’s a great local pub just down the lane. There’s so much to do here, guests often don’t want to leave!

Walking & cycling break

With miles of trails, coastal paths and winding country lanes all easily accessible from the farm, exploring more of your home county couldn’t be easier.

Why not enjoy a group stay at the farm, making the most of one of our larger cottages and enjoy a different adventure each day - the Pentewan Valley Trail - part of the Cornish Way, is highly recommended by the team, linking to Mevagissey and Heligan Gardens to the west and to St Austell and the Eden Project to the east.

Hen weekends

Equipped with everything you could need, the luxury self-catering cottages found at Bosinver provide the perfect location for a relaxing Hen weekend.

Lounge by the indoor pool or, if opting for the luxurious Lowen eco Cottage or the Farmhouse, sit back and relax in your own personal hot tub – sipping champagne under the stars.

If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, why not head out and walk the coastal path, enjoy the surf or even try a spot of horse riding on the beach? Having teamed up with activity company Active-8, adventures are just around the corner!

With plenty of great restaurants located in the nearby area - if a delicious meal out is what’s needed at the end of a full and exciting day, the team can point you in the right direction.
