Daymer Bay

Daymer Bay

A horizon of gorgeous golds and crystal blues.

Situated at the mouth of the River Camel, between Rock and Polzeath is Daymer Bay. A beautiful safe and sandy beach, surrounded by undulating hills, patchwork fields and stunning views.

Great for families with sheltered shallow waters and perfect for paddling - the rock pools to the right of the beach provide hours of entertainment for the kids.

Hidden within the dunes backing the beach is the picturesque St Enodoc Church, or ‘Sinking Neddy’. Buried by the sand for almost 200 years, it is here that the famous Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman is buried.

Venture up Brea Hill to be greeted with far reaching views of the Camel Estuary and the North Cornish Coastline.
