Gadles Farm Cottages
Enjoy country life and stay at Gadles Farm, a beautiful working dairy farm that is home to over sixty prize-winning Ayrshire cattle and two stunning self-catering properties. Although situated less than 10 miles away from the city of Truro, you’ll feel like a world away as the farm provides plenty of open space and far reaching views of the Cornish countryside.
The first of the self-catering properties, Pascoe’s, has been fully renovated and restored (having not been inhabited in living memory) and now sleeps four. It offers a well-equipped kitchen and lounge, which features a wood burning fire – perfect for the winter months.
Foxglove is slightly larger, accommodating between 4-5 people. Converted from a disused single story cowshed the property is fully accessible, offering a spacious open-plan interior and patio area with garden furniture – perfect for BBQs during the summer.
A great place to stay in Cornwall if you’re bringing the kids - there’s plenty of open space and farmyard animals to keep them entertained, especially if you visit during the calving season!
Gadles is also perfect for those looking for an action packed adventure, as there’s plenty of storage space for equipment. So why not bring your bike, surfboard or even boat - owner Trevor is always more than happy to help assist with launching at Mylor harbour...
We love...
The welcome hamper, which includes fresh milk (from the farm’s own cows), Cornish scones with clotted cream and beautiful local fresh flowers.
Don't miss...
The cow’s milk is also used to produce the farm’s own traditional artisan hard-pressed cheese, Kennall Vale, which is sold at various farm shops and farmers’ markets throughout the county.
