Creekside Cottages
When many people think of Cornwall, they imagine the wide sandy beaches and crashing surf. But if you only head for the coast, you’re missing out on some beautiful waterside locations along Cornwall’s creeks and rivers. Creekside Cottages offer 60 years of experience in finding individual self-catering properties in a variety of fascinating locations in lovely parts of Cornwall. Even the names sound romantic – Restronguet, St Just in Roseland, Mylor Bridge, Flushing and Falmouth.
Most actually overlook the water and offer a variety of breaks, all year round. With properties sleeping from two to eight (and many of them dog-friendly), you can find somewhere luxurious for all the family, a quiet place for romance or a fisherman’s cottage to transport you back to a quieter, gentler age.
Creekside Cottages can provide a tailor-made service for customers, matching them with the right holiday cottage whether it’s in the wooded creeks and rivers of the Fal estuary and the Carrick roads, close to the busy town of Falmouth, or on the stunning Roseland Peninsula.
There are plenty of options – how about a 300-year-old Grade II listed cottage on a farm overlooking the Carrick Roads, with access to a private shingle beach? Or maybe a two-bedroom penthouse with a balcony to watch the world go by at the head of the Penryn River?
We love...
The personal touch. Creekside Cottages is run by Martin Watson whose family has been letting holiday homes in the Restronguet area of Cornwall since 1956, so there’s a lifetime of knowledge about this gorgeous part of the county.
