Mirchi
The interior of this lovely restaurant reflects the menu - bright and colourful. Loyal customers, both local and visitors to Cornwall, come back time and again to savour the delicious fresh dishes on the menu, reflecting the very best of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine.
Mirchi means hot chilli and a symbol on the menu helps guide you through the food. One or two chillies means fairly hot; five indicates a phall curry which is extremely hot. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of choice to eat in or take away from the familiar tikka masala and jalfrezi curry to some of the house specialities – like Hari Mirchi Bhuna (lamb cooked with spinach and tomatoes) and Nowabi Chicken which is a chicken breast stuffed with minced meat, baked in a tandoor oven and served with a bhuna sauce with mushrooms.
The ingredients are local, seasonal and organic and the menu is varied and interesting. Mirchi is a short walk from Summerleaze Beach in Bude.
