Cornwall Gold
Providing a truly unique visitor experience, a trip to Cornwall Gold offers the perfect day out for all ages.
Take a tour around Tolgus Tin Mill and discover the process of tin streaming - learning how the tin ore extracted is then smelted to create a range of stunning Cornish jewellery. As the only surviving mill of its type in Cornwall, you can also witness the staggering power of the stamping machinery and learn about some of the men who worked the mill in years gone by.
Head into the main jewellery showroom and take a look at the vast array of beautiful pieces on display – as the largest collection of jewellery in Cornwall, this is truly an experience in its own right. The range covers semi-precious, precious and Cornish pieces – with jewellery technicians on hand to answer any questions you may have. You can also visit the jewellery workshop to see first hand how the goldsmiths working here create the beautiful pieces on offer - hugely experienced in their craft, a bespoke design service is also available, allowing you to create something truly individual that is perfect for you.
For those with a love of pearls, a visit to Cornwall Pearl is a must. Browse the extensive range of items available, providing both classic pieces as well as more contemporary designs. Pick your own pearl from a shell in the wonderful Pick-a-Pearl experience and learn all about what makes it unique as it's graded. Then choose the perfect setting from a range of silver and gold pieces and watch as it's expertly set there and then. A great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or Cornish holiday.
A family friendly attraction, there are plenty of activities available to keep the kids entertained during your visit, from Krazy Golf and Create and Paint Pottery to The Bear Works. We recommend panning for gold – head to the stream that runs through the park and sift through the sand at the bottom to uncover a variety of hidden treasures!
Admission is free and there is plenty of parking available on site at no cost to visitors. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the site and there's always a water bowl and biscuits for them to enjoy in The Cornish Pantry.

The Tolgus Collection – made using tin smelted on site and forged with silver and gold, these beautiful pieces are a unique memento of Cornwall. Proceeds made from the collection go directly towards the renovation of Tolgus Tin Mill.
