Royal Cornwall Museum
Step back in time as you discover thousands of historical objects from both Cornwall and the rest of the wider world.
From the British Museum supported Ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian permanent exhibition, to collections ranging from Stone Age Cornwall to one of the finest art collections in the county – you’ll be guided through the stories of both ancient and living cultures, spanning the last ten thousand years.
Founded in 1818 as part of the Royal Institution of Cornwall, 2018 marks a special milestone for the museum as they celebrate their 200th anniversary.
With celebrations running throughout the year, visitors will be able to enjoy exhibitions and collections of all kinds, whilst diverse community groups will also be taking part. Dance, drama, poetry, song, lectures and re-enacted historical science experiments are all included in RIC 200.
