Between Saturday 28 May and Sunday 5 June, 329 artists, designers and makers from all corners of Cornwall will share their studio spaces and artistic practice as they throw open their doors and welcome visitors to discover, discuss and purchase original work.
From Porthtowan to Porthleven and Lamorna to Looe, potters, painters and printmakers; textile artists and designers; sculptors and silversmiths will showcase the boundless possibilities of composition, shape and form, inspired by themes as diverse as the healing power of the nature; industrial archaeology; the colours of the coast; the textural quality of trees, mosses and ferns and the preternatural importance of place.
Curate your own art trail by following those distinctive orange Os along Bronze Age footpaths and winding lanes, up granite steps and into cobbled courtyards to studios in net-lofts and fish cellars; barns and blacksmith’s forges; smallholdings and shipping containers. Witness the power of creativity to transform the human experience and transport us to ephemeral other worlds.
