Spring is one of the best times of year to visit Cornwall - thanks to the Gulf Stream the weather is getting warmer, beautiful blooms are blossoming, there’s an abundance of wildlife to discover and beautiful beaches to explore.

Have an adventure

It’s a little chilly for a bikini but spring is a great time of year to visit the beaches in Cornwall. Visit the north coast to find some of the best surfing conditions in Britain including Fistral and Haryln or, tour the beautiful beaches that starred in Poldark, including Gunwalloe on the Lizard Peninsular or Porthcothan in West Cornwall.

There’s no better time to visit Cornwall’s range of beautiful gardens than in spring when the magnificent magnolias are in bloom alongside a range of native and foreign flowers and trees. Explore the county’s history
Cornwall’s history goes back to the Stone Age and since then many significant events and people have left their legacy here. Visit the castles built by Henry VIII or the ceremonial circles the Hurlers - said to be the remains of men petrified and turned to stone for playing the Celtic game of hurling on a Sunday.
