What could beat enjoying a delicious Cornish lunch in the warmth of a cosy pub or restaurant? We love heading to Lusty Glaze for a bracing walk on the beach, before heading inside to sit in front of the wood burner - whilst tucking into one of their mouth-watering dishes. Festive fun at a Christmas Market
With Christmas rapidly drawing closer, it won’t be long until we’re all fully immersed in the festive spirit and panic buying presents at the last moment. From the ‘Made in Cornwall’ Christmas Fair in Truro at the end of November, to the Christmas Gift and Food event in Penzance which is being held by Make Industries on the 17th and 18th December, there’s sure to be something for everyone across the county this Christmas.

A spot of storm watching
As the stormiest part of England, the West Country experiences gale-force winds on around 24 days of the year – with December and January offering the best times for storm watching. Locations such as Porthleven, Botallack, the Lizard Point, Bedruthan Steps and Sennen Cove offer fantastic vantage points to witness the full strength of Mother Nature – however, whether visiting any of these sites or elsewhere in the county, it’s crucial that you keep yourself at a safe distance.

Discover bright city lights and illuminated towns, or visit dazzling harbour displays and village spectaculars – with fantastic displays found right across Cornwall, some of our favourites include Mousehole, Angarrack, Truro and Mevagissey.
