Previously holding four AA Stars, the handsome Grade II listed Alverton Hotel has been awarded four AA SILVER Stars following a recent inspection. It has also retained two AA Rosettes for its Brasserie, held since July 2016.
AA Inspector Robert Martin said, “The Alverton continues to impress for its many qualities, this was a most enjoyable visit, to a well-managed establishment, a focused team, delivering friendly hospitality and attentive service in a delightful environment.”
The AA issue a silver award when a hotel provides a superior level of quality within their star rating. The assessment looks at three elements: overall quality; six critical areas of quality including cleanliness, hospitality, service, bedrooms, bathrooms and food; and the provision of services and facilities.

The hotel now has 50 individually designed, fully-equipped bedrooms and suites. The Courtyard wing is a short walk from the main hotel and comprises of 15 unique bedrooms and suites. Surrounded by the hotel’s beautifully maintained grounds, it provides a relaxing space to stay.
