The traditional cob and slate buildings create a colourful labyrinth of narrow medieval streets now brimming with interesting shops, art galleries and craft workshops - but were once perfect smugglers’ haunts.
Mevagissey’s idyllic twin harbour provides a picturesque setting to enjoy a spot of lunch from one of the many outstanding eateries that lie along the water’s edge. A great place to watch local fishermen unloading their day’s catch or fixing nets.
Fowey is a 30 minute ferry journey away – drink in the beautiful south coast and Cornish fresh air whilst watching out for dolphins.
