Callington

Callington is a historic civil parish and town situated between the Tamar and Lynher rivers. Its outlying area is home to some of Cornwall’s most stunning countryside, forests and rivers and its range of independent stores offer a great shopping experience -particularly the pannier market, a colorful emporium of extensive treasures open Monday-Saturday.

At the centre of the town is St Mary’s Church, which dates back to the 15th century. Its churchyard holds the ancient tombs of the Ayssheton and Willoughby families, the first burials to be recorded in 1446.
