St Buryan

Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the parish of St. Buryan is a popular destination for visitors due to its historic landmarks and stunning scenery.

Encompassing the villages of St. Buryan, Crows-an-wra and St. Levan, the area is also a Designated Conservation Area, with many sites of Special Scientific Interest also located nearby.

The village of St. Buryan is made up of granite cottages, surrounding the famous church that stands as a distinctive landmark. It is said that the six bells within the church have the heaviest peel in the country.

The area also has a lot of evidence of Neolithic activity, from ancient holy wells to Celtic crosses.

Situated close to Land’s End and Penzance there are plenty of things to see and do here, making it well worth exploring.
