Tee up for one of the best rounds of golf in Cornwall on the St Enodoc course, once the haunt of poet laureate Sir John Betjeman who owned a house near the 13th hole.
Some of Betjeman’s verse is inspired by his love of this area and he’s buried at nearby St Enodoc church, an ancient place of worship that was once buried by the sands. Churchgoers would descend through a hole in the roof to hold their annual service!
