The Christmas countdown has begun and with only a few weeks left to purchase gifts, drinks, food and festive decorations, why not shop local? With a number of Christmas markets to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
This is one of the county’s leading festivals, running from 3 – 6 December. With over 100 stalls to browse, a Santa fun run, chef demonstrations and amazing firework displays, this is one for the whole family.
Filled with stalls, local traders and crafts on 5 December between 5pm & 9pm – the town will be celebrating Christmas in style, with the addition of the official lights switch on to enjoy too! The children will be kept happy with activities including a Santa Lucky Dip.
Started in 2005, this market has grown into one of the biggest in Cornwall. Set over two sites – the Leisure Centre and Town Quay – there’ll be a huge choice of traders from all over Cornwall, Devon and beyond. Running on the 5 and 6 December from 10am to 5pm.
Truro Victorian Christmas Market
This hugely popular Christmas market is back for its eleventh year, with over 70 exhibitors dressed in full period costumes! Taking place undercover on lemon Quay from 8 – 13 December, you’ll be spoilt for choice with food and drink, arts, crafts and gifts. Outlaw Christmas Market – Falmouth
This market takes place from the 10 – 12 December from 9am – 6pm. Showcasing the very best Cornish gifts, crafts and food and drink, you’ll be sure to tick some presents off the list.
Taking place on the 12 and 13 December between 10am and 5pm, this fair will have a great range of stalls selling beautiful items – perfect for Christmas presents. Choose from jewellery, food and drink, home ware and textiles.
Heartlands Christmas Market Weekend
With over 50 local crafters and producers booked to attend on the 12 and 13 December, 11am – 4pm, don’t miss the Christmas Market Weekend at Heartlands. Entrance and parking is free and the Red River Café will be open as usual.
