Christmas Day Swim on Crooklets Beach

On Christmas morning hundreds of swimmers from across Cornwall visit Bude for a 'refreshing' dip in the sea - helping to raise money for the Surf Life Saving club at Crooklets Beach. This years swim is hoping for it's biggest turnout yet, aiming for 600 sponsored swimmers from all age groups. This year there will be a competition for the swimmer with the best Christmas hat - a winner will be chosen from among the under 13s, under 21s and ‘senior splashers’.
